Serie A: Leaders AC Milan beaten at home

Serie A leaders AC Milan lost 1-0 at home to AS Roma on Saturday when striker Marco Borriello netted in the second half to burst his former club’s bubble. The Rossoneri had surged six points clear at the top last weekend but Juventus, Lazio and Napoli could all cut the gap back to three points if they win in Sunday’s matches. Borriello, who joined Roma from Milan in August, was fortunate to score when home defender Ignazio Abate kicked a Jeremy Menez cross against his ex-team mate and the ball rolled into the goal.
