An interloper was shot in the neck and chest, on the night of Saturday to Sunday, in a central area of Constanta, while he was about to climb in his car. Dozens of people were questioned, yesterday, and, according to the investigators, they’ve narrowed down a group of suspects. The deputy chief of the Constanta County Police, chief inspector Adrian Rapotan, told Agerpres, that “the victim of the attack claims he doesn’t know why he was shot, arguing he hasn’t been involved in any conflict lately”. According to the investigators, the shot bullets were of two different calibres, which suggests there were, most likely, two attackers. The victim – Giocalai Arsen – is in stable condition now and the patient’s relatives asked that he be transported to the Floreasca Hospital in Bucharest, to be given the necessary medical assistance. Giocalai Arsen is well-known to the law-enforcers, as he has been involved in several confrontations taking place in Constanta between organized crime gangs.
