Today and tomorrow Bucharest will host ceremonies that will commemorate the heroes that gave their lives for the victory of the Romanian Revolution in December 1989. The ceremonies entail a series of traffic restrictions. Thus, on December 21, from noon to 1.30 PM, traffic on the Nicolae Balcescu Boulevard toward Romana Square will be restricted from Universitatii Square to Batistei Street, traffic on lane 4 toward Universitatii Square will be restricted from Batistei Street to Universitatii Square and traffic on lane 1 toward Romana Square will be restricted from Batistei Street to Dem. I. Dobrescu Street. On December 22, from 11 AM to 11.30 AM, traffic on lane 1 of the Dorobantilor Street will be restricted from Charles de Gaulle Square to Dorobantilor Square because of the religious ceremony organized in front of the Romanian Television.
