A 63-year-old man was killed on a pedestrian crossing on National Road 2, in Costesti locality, Buzau County, by a SMURD ambulance belonging to the Buzau County’s Inspectorate for Emergency Situations. “Preliminary investigations show that a SMURD ambulance that was responding to a distress call and that was using its light and sound system hit a 63-year-old man on a pedestrian crossing. The pedestrian died and a manslaughter file has been opened,” Florina Crucianu, spokesperson of the Buzau County Police Inspectorate, stated.
