Chess: Vlad Jianu wins Belgrade tournament

Romania’s Grand Master Vlad Jianu has won the Balkan Grand Prix, an international chess tournament hos­ted by Belgrade. 8 Grand Masters and 2 International Masters from Bulgaria, Montenegro, Bosnia-Her­ze­govina and Serbia took part in the tournament. Vlad Jianu topped the standings with 5.5 points out of 9 possible points, followed by Mon­te­negro’s Dragisa Blagojevic (5 pts) and Bulgaria’s Boris Ciatalbesev (5 pts), the Romanian Chess Federation informs.
