EximBank was awarded “The most dynamic bank during the crisis” title, as well as the “Petru Crisan” Grand Trophy, by the Romanian National Exporters’ and Importers’ Association (ANEIR), a press release informs. During the award gala, the EximBank officials stressed the bank’s significant progress in supporting trading companies, particularly in this difficult economic context, as proved by the bank’s results. Thus, the total volume of guarantees granted in 2009 and in the first half of 2010 amounted to almost RON 1.2 bln, which is six times the value reported in 2008. In the first nine months of 2010, the guarantees granted were twice higher than the value reported for 2008 as a whole and 30 per cent higher compared to the interval January-September 2009. At the same time, loans granted in the first nine months of the year soared by almost 20 per cent compared to figures reported at the end of 2009.
