Ridzi has no intention to resign

Monica Iacob-Ridzi, former Youth minister and now a member of the Chamber of Deputies, wrote on her blog that she will not answer with passion, and will not hold a grudge against the colleagues who ask her to resign from Parliament and PDL, because she prefers a peaceful Christmas at home, with her child. At this moment, the Democrat-Liberal is more concerned with her personal life, but she might answer at a later moment. “This was a hard year for me, I feared for my life and for that of my baby; I know there are more challenges ahead and, trust me, perhaps this is why I don’t want to answer now,” Monica Iacob-Ridzi concludes. EuroDeputy Monica Macovei recently asked PDL to expel Monica Ridzi, PDL Deputy Sulfina Barbu said Ridzi should resign from Parliament, to prove her innocence, while the executive secretary of PDL, Elena Udrea suggested that the former minister should leave the party.
