According to the Association of Auto Producers and Importers (APIA), car sales dropped by 19.4 per cent to 111,300 units in the first 11 months of this year compared to the same period last year, Mediafax informs. In November auto sales grew by 4.6 per cent to 12,320 units compared to the month before. In what concerns auto deliveries, in the first 11 months they reported a drop of 18.3 per cent to 99,572 units, while in November they reported a growth of 5.4 per cent to 10,990 units compared to October. The sale of commercial vehicles stagnated in November at 1,247 units. Overall, in the first 11 months the commercial vehicles’ market dropped 27.5 per cent to 10,986 units. Dacia was the best-sold brand in November (4,125 units), followed by Renault (950 units) and Skoda (913 units). In November the production of vehicles dropped by 4.6 per cent to 27,922 units; however in the first 11 months it grew by 17.4 per cent to 320,990 units.
