This is the third film in a franchise that no one really needed. What turned out to be a sharp and funny comedy in 2000, entitled “Meet the Parents” was followed by a somewhat disgusting “Meet the Fockers” in 2004. Even the actors seem mortified to be part of this third act. It aims at being your nice Christmas treat but its gags are so gruesome and the story so thin that it will not manage to make anyone giggle.
