Omar Tetik took over the offices of chairman of the BA and president of Credit Europe Bank Romania after the National Bank of Romania (BNR) approved his appointment at the helm of the bank, a release by the credit institution informs. The central bank’s stamp of approval comes after the Credit Europe Bank shareholders appointed Omer Tetik at the helm of the bank in mid-November. On the same occasion, shareholders elected Murat Basbay, the new CEO of the Credit Europe Group, as a member in the Board of Administration of Credit Europe Bank Romania. Omer Tatik has been in the executive echelons of the bank since 2000 and has coordinated, in turn, the Treasury, Financial Institutions, Retail Banking and Cards Divisions.
