Brukenthal museums to close for public

Tourists who had planned to visit the museums in Sibiu this January should check the visiting hours, because many of them will not be opened to the public. The museums in question are those which make up the Brukenthal National Museum, which will close down for annual conservation works.

Thus, the Brukenthal Palace, the Blue House and the Contemporary Art Gallery will be closed between January 3 and 18. The National History Museum, the Museum of Pharmacy and the Hunting Museum are to close between January 9 and 26. Finally, the History Museum and the Altemberger House will be closed for the public between January 17 and February 1.
