One of Constanta’s neighbourhoods was gripped by panic at the end of last week after people found dozens of dead starlings in front of an apartment building. People were worried since this kind of phenomena has been taking place all over the globe lately, with specialists unable to ascertain why. They stated that the birds died in a matter of minutes. According to eyewitnesses the birds basically fell from the sky. People picked up the dead birds and took them to the National Sanitary Veterinary Authority. Suspicious bird and fish deaths have been reported in several parts of the world.
