The Social-Democrat Party (PSD) ranks first in the voters’ preferences, according to a poll conducted by the Infopolitic Study and Research Centre (CSCI). As regards the most trustworthy politicians, Crin Antonescu, the leader of the National Liberal Party (PNL), ranks first, followed by Victor Ponta and Adrian Nastase. If parliamentary elections were held next Sunday, PSD would be voted by 38.1 per cent of the voters, according to the CSCI poll. PNL ranks second, with 22.6 per cent. The Democrat Liberal Party (PDL) claims the third position – 18 pc. The next positions are claimed, in turn, by: the People’s Party (PP) – 9.9 pc, the Greater Romania Party (PRM) – 5.7 pc, the Democratic Union of Hungarians in Romania (UDMR) – 4 pc, the Conservative Party (PC) – 1.3 pc.
