The Democratic Liberal Party (PDL) deputy Teo Trandafir will check in a hospital in Vienna, after having a biliary crisis. According to some sources, Teo Trandafir suffers from acute pancreatitis. “They told me my organism caved in because of stress and exhaustion. I had a biliary crisis. I’ve been feeling sick for two days, I couldn’t eat, I couldn’t sleep,” the MP stated, for a lifestyle magazine. Acute pancreatitis is a severe, but temporary, inflammation, which determines an overflow of active pancreatic enzymes in the pancreatic tissue, in neighbouring areas and in the systemic circulation. It can be caused by several factors, including biliary problems, digestive complaints and viral infections. The most frequent cause is, however, the consumption of fatty food.
