Nicolas Cagein hospital with leg injury

Nicolas Cage ended up in hospital, straight from the set. The actor needed medical care at the CF 2 Hospital in Bucharest, as the boots he had to wear while shooting “Ghost Rider 2” inflicted him a leg injury, Antena 3 reports.

The shooting wasn’t interrupted for long, on account of this incident. The set is right next to the hospital’s orthopaedics ward, so Nicolas Cage was soon back to work.

Cage is in Romania, working on his latest project, “Ghost Rider 2”, shot in 3D. The first instalment of the “Ghost Rider” series was launched in 2007 and made USD 228.7 M at the box-office. Nicolas Cage has made over 40 films in a career spanning 20 years. He was awarded the Oscar for the Best Male Performance for “Leaving Las Vegas” (1995), and “Wild at Heart” (1990), directed by David Lynch, brought him the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival.
