Art Photographers’ Salon opens in Bucharest

Over 20 art photographers from Bucharest exhibit in the first Art Photographers’ Salon, which opened on Wednesday evening in the official hall of the Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Held under the patronage of the Romanian Art Photographers’ Association (AAFR), the exhibition is part of the manifestations associated to the “Romanian Photography Month” Festival, running until February 11. The salon includes both the works of amateur artists or of young people who turned a hobby into a highly satisfying profession, as well as works of internationally celebrated news photographers or senior photographers who pursue art for art’s sake.

The Salon opened in the official hall of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosts photographs taken between 1951 and 2010, from all the genres of photographic art, from nudes to landscapes, from news photography to experimental or documentary images to air photography.

Address: 2 Octavian Goga Str.
