National Road Confederation was set up yesterday

The Romanian Federation of Transport Operators (FORT) and the ‘Europa’ Federation of Transporters yesterday founded the National Road Confederation, an umbrella organisation that represents over 4,500 passenger and freight transport companies, Mediafax announces. The National Road Confederation thus becomes the largest employers’ association that represents the interests of transporters, as it groups over 80 pc of the associations set up by road transport operators in Romania. The confederation will have its head offices in Otopeni, Ilfov County, and its president will be Adrian Hagiu, who held a similar position with FORT.
