Iasi police opened an inquiry into the identity of a woman who abandoned her baby a short while after giving birth Wednesday evening. The woman was opened a criminal file in absentia for putting the baby’s life in jeopardy, Agerpres reports. The newborn female when was found abandoned outside the gate of the Frumoasa monastery in Iasi, Wednesday around 7.00 pm.
