James Walsh performs at The Ark

On February 4, The Ark tempts the Bucharest public with a new premiere: James Walsh, the soloist of Starsailor, in an acoustic concert at The Ark Underground, organized by The Ark, in partnership with Emagic. Following in the footsteps of Travis or Coldplay, Starsailor went on to become, shortly after its 2001 debut, one of the most celebrated bands in the UK. They soon rose to success, and songs like “Four to the Floor”, “Silence Is Easy”, “Tell Me It’s Not Over” or “Poor Misguided Fool” collected accolades on stages in Europe and elsewhere, as Starsailor started drawing audiences at prestigious international festivals, including Glastonbury, V Festival, Rock im Park or T in the Park. Despite the success he enjoyed alongside Starsailor, James Walsh felt the need to take some time off from the band and focus more on a solo career. Fascinated by the likes of Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Nick Drake or The Beatles, James gradually found his own voice, a unique mixture of the nuances and influences. On February 4, his fans may see James Walsh live in Bucharest, at The Ark. The price of a ticket is RON 50.
