Galatasaray Istanbul, the Turkish team coached by Romania’s Gheorghe Hagi and for which Argentina’s Juan Culio, recently transferred from Romania’s CFR Cluj, currently plays, has qualified for the Turkish Cup quarterfinals after a goalless group game against Antalyaspor. This stage of the competition consisted of four five-team groups, with the top two teams in each group qualifying for the quarterfinals. Galata was undefeated in Group A, having defeated Denizlispor (3-1) and Beyazpazari Sekerspor (3-1) and drawn against Gaziantepspor (1-1) and Antalyaspor (0-0).
