Man sets himself on fire

A 31-year-old man from Ibanesti, Vaslui County, was hospitalized with second and third degree burns after he set himself on fire late Tuesday night, Realitatea.net informs. According to the ambulance doctors, the man soaked himself in gasoline and set himself on fire outside his house. “We were called by the victim’s neighbors who came to his assistance. Unfortunately the man is in a very serious condition, he has severe burns on his entire body. He was taken from the emergency hospital in Barlad to clinic in Iasi,” Maria Ungureanu, medical director of Vaslui County’s ambulance service, stated on Wednesday. The man has three underage children and serious financial problems. His relatives claim he was unemployed.
