The nominations for the 2011 Razzie Awards have been announced, with ‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’ and ‘The Last Airbender’ leading the way for the worst films of the year, according to BBC. Also, Robert Patinson, Gerard Butler and Ashton Kutcher are fighting in the worst actor category while “Jonah Hex’s Megan Fox seems to be the favourite for worst actress this year. The annual Golden Raspberry ceremony takes place in Hollywood the day before the Academy Awards, with many actors getting in the spirit and turning up to the event. Last year Sandra Bullock turned up to accept worst actress for ‘All about Steve,’ before winning the Oscar for ‘The Blind Side’ the following day. The Razzies were founded by American copywriter and publicist John J.B. Wilson in 1981, and are voted by a 600-strong membership. The “winners” will be announced on 26th February. Meanwhile, this afternoon, the Academy for Motion Picture will announce its Oscar race favourites.
