Bucharest National Airport Company signs EUR 100 M loan

The Bucharest National Airport Company (CNAB) has contracted a EUR 100 M loan from BRD Societe Generale and the Romanian Commercial Bank for a period of ten years in order to finance the ‘Henri Coanda’ (‘Otopeni’) International Airport’s third development stage, a press release informs.


The third development stage includes connecting the two terminals, the Schengen terminal included, enlarging the International Departures and Schengen terminals (with a surface of 19,600 square meters), exterior systematization of the eastern wing, access roads (approximately 5,000 square meters) and utilities and enlarging the international arrival and Schengen terminals (approximately 2,500 square meters).
