Labour Minister: Romania is the Titanic

Labour Minister Ioan Botis compared Romania to the Titanic, only a day after Jeffrey Francks saw our country as a patient, Realitatea.net informed. “Romania is not a patient. It is the Titanic. The ship to change history, arriving at destination, and not sinking to the bottom of the ocean, not even of the Black Sea,” he said, giving history a twist. “Romania has not yet arrived at the emergency department, nor has it suffered a surgical intervention. It’s still standing on its feet. I don’t believe it to be a patient. It was a joke and should be taken as such. A patient is assisted, lethargic, a sick person, if you will. A conflict situation is sure not to generate wellbeing either for those who generate it, or those in power. As a result, it is our duty to find solutions so that this Titanic, if you like to call it so, finds the best way to go forward,” Botis concluded.
