Stuntman Szoby Cseh, Securitate informer

According to the National Council for the Study of the Securitate Archives (CNSAS), famous stuntman Szoby Cseh was allegedly a Securitate informer, ancheteonline.ro informs. According to CNSAS, Szoby Cseh was allegedly code-named ‘Sabin,’ having been recruited in 1977 and having signed a Securitate pledge in 1978. Cseh allegedly offered info on the Buftea movie set or State Circus stuntmen that were planning to leave the country.


Contacted by Ancheteonline, Szoby Cseh admitted signing the Securitate pledge, explaining: “I was probably naïve”.


In 2009 Szoby Cseh (69) received from President Traian Basescu the National Order for Faithful Service in Knight Degree as a sign of “high appreciation for the talent and professionalism he has proven throughout his career”. ­
