Vrancea hit by two low-magnitude quakes

According to the National Institute for Earth Physics, two earthquakes, measuring 3 and 3.5 magnitude on the Richter scale, took place on Wednesday night in Vrancea. The first took place at 11.11 PM (UTC), had a depth of 144 kilometers and measured magnitude 3 on the Richter scale. It was felt in Nereju (7 km from epicenter), Gura Teghii (10 km), Lopatari (13 km), Nistoresti (15 km) and Manzalesti (19 km). The second earthquake took place at 11.57 PM (UTC), had a depth of 22 kilometers and measured 3.5 on the Richter scale. It was felt in Bordei Verde (4 km from epicenter), Ianca (9 km), Traian (11 km), Viziru (15 km) and Gopeni (16 km).
