Soprano Ruxandra Urdareanu will give a French music recital tomorrow, starting from 6:30 p.m., as part of the ‘Ludovic Spiess’ Experimental Opera and Ballet Studio, according to a press release from the National Bucharest Opera, quoted by HotNews.
The recital will include lied and arias from the works of famous composers such as George Enescu, Claude Debussy, Gabriel Faure, Reynaldo Hahn, Francisc Poulenc, Jules Massenet and Georges Bizet.
Urdareanu is a graduate of the Bucharest Music Academy, Musical Interpretation section and has a master’s degree from the Mozarteum Music and Artistic Interpretation School of Salzburg.
She also attended artistry classes in Vienna, Munich, Salzburg, Berlin, London and Milan, working with prominent music figures such as Ileana Cotrubas, Gotz Friedrich, Thomas Langhff, Philip Langridge, David Pountney and Maria Luisa Cioni. Urdareanu has also performed in opera shows on various European stages, including in Salzburg and Munich.
