Aman watercolour on auction at GoldArt auction house

The GoldArt auction house has prepared for Thursday an auction for Romanian modern art works. The event will start at 7 PM within the Central University Library’s Galateca Hall. The works placed on auction include Theodor Aman’s watercolour “Paris donne la pomme d’or a Venus,” whose value is estimated at RON 25,000 – 27,000. Apart from that, collectors will be able to buy paintings signed by Nicolae Darascu (“Peisagiu romanesc (din Vlaici)” – estimated at RON 45,000-50,000), Corneliu Baba (“Pagina de studiu (portret si maini)” – RON 22,000-25,000), Marius Bunescu (“Casa” – RON 22,000-24,000), Constantin Piu­lita (“Primavara” – RON 18,000-20,000), Kimon Loghi (“Plaja la Bel-Meil” – RON 17,000-20,000) Aurel Baesu (“In fata sobei” – RON 17,000-19,000), Adam Baltatu, Ion Irimescu and Ion Pacea. The auctioned paintings will be included in an exhibition that will be open to the public today and tomorrow at the Galateca Hall from 11 AM to 7 PM and on Thursday from 11 AM to 5 PM.
