Kapetanos, CFR’s new striker

Greek striker Pantelis Kapetanos has signed for CFR Cluj after canceling his contract with Steaua several weeks ago, the club’s official website informs. The 27-year-old striker played for Steaua from 2008 to 2010, scoring 27 goals. The contract will span three and a half years and the player will earn approximately EUR 250,000 per season. Courted by teams such as Celta Vigo, Anorthosis Famagusta and St. Gallen, Kapetanos was eventually bought by CFR in order to replace Sasa Bejlanovic after the latter recently signed for Italy’s Atalanta.
