Romania’s first H&M store will take up 2000 sqm and will open March 25 in Bucharest, a press release informs. The retailer will open five more stores in the capital, and also in the cities of Constanta, Craiova, Brasov, Cluj-Napoca, Iasi and Timisoara. “H&M’s presence at AFI Palace Cotroceni Mega Fun proves, yet again, the quality of our project and complements an extremely suitable brand mix that makes our customers happy,” Israel Visel, Mega Fun Mall manager, said. The first H&M store opened in Sweden in 1947. The group has a workforce of 87,000 and sells latest fashion apparel for men, women, adolescents and children.
