EximBank – ECIO Greece cooperation agreement

EximBank signed a cooperation agreement with Greece’s Export Credit Insurance Organization (ECIO) meant to encourage trade exchanges between the two countries and to support projects to be run in partnership by Romanian and Greek trading agents in other states, a press release informs. “Trading ties between Romania and Greece were affected by the financial crisis, which shook to a certain extent the economies of all EU member states, but we believe that, by sealing this agreement, we will manage, using the means at our disposal, to contribute to boosting trading exchanges between the two countries”, Ionut Costea, the president of EximBank, stated. ECIO is the Greek governmental export credits agency, a participant in the meetings of the European Council’s Working Group on Export Credits in Brussels and in the OECD meetings in Paris.
