Miron Cozma infringes court ban and enters Petrosani

The police initiated a criminal investigation against the former miners’ leader, Miron Cozma, after the latter breached the court ruling which bans him from entering Petrosani. Cozma was caught by the Traffic Police on Tuesday evening, around 8:30 pm, on DN 66, during a routine check-up. Cozma is banned from entering Bucharest and Petrosani until December 1, 2012, Antena 3 reports. The former leader of the Jiu Valley miners, Miron Cozma, was on his way back from the funerals of the five miners killed last week in the Uricani mine explosion. He visited the families of all the five miners killed in the blast to pay his condolences. Cozma did not drive through Petrosani on his way to Uricani and Lupeni, where the funerals took place.
