The car-maker Renault will launch, in 2012, in Europe, two new Dacia models, Mediafax reports. One of them is a family car, the other, a light commercial vehicle. The Renault range will amount to a total 44 models in 2013 and 48 in 2016, rising from 40 last year. In Europe, Renault will introduce, alongside the electric cars developed in partnership with Nissan, several new models, such as the Twingo phase 2 in 2011, a new Clio version in 2012 and, also in 2012, the two aforementioned Dacia models. The Renault ZE electric car range, developed in partnership with Nissan, will bring four electric car models next year, followed by fresh launches in 2014-2016. Thus, by 2016, the Renault-Nissan alliance proposes to sell 1.5 million electric cars.
