Gymnastics: Junior Ana Maria Ocolisan, 3rd place at the Nadia Comaneci International Invitational

At the ‘Nadia Comaneci International Invitational’ competition that took place within Oklahoma City’s ‘Cox Arena,’ Romanian gymnast Ana Maria Ocolisan finished the juniors’ event on 3rd place. Ocolisan totaled 53.15 points, being outranked by America’s Mackenzie Brannan (56.05 pts) and Abby Milliet (54.05 pts). Romania’s Alina Stanila finished on 4th place with 51.95 pts, while Irina Paun finished on 7th place with 47.20 pts, Agerpres informs. Canadian gymnast Anysia Unick won the seniors’ event with 54.85 pts, being followed by her fellow national Madeline Gardiner (54.75 pts) and America’s Reagan Hemry (50.45 pts). The event, hosted by the ‘Bart Conner’ Gymnastics Academy, was at its third edition and brought together over 700 gymnasts, including four juniors from Romania: Ana Maria Ocolisan, Alina Stanila, Irina Paun and Adela Popa. The Romanian juniors finished the teams’ event on second place, behind Canada.
