NEPI investors receive an increase of 11.7% in cash dividend per share

New Europe Property Investments plc (NEPI) doubled its property portfolio to EUR 314 million by year end 2010 with three acquisitions, a press release informs. The Company declared a second cash dividend to shareholders in relation to the 2010 year of 9.26 euros cents per share. This brings the total cash dividend for 2010 to 17.61euros cent per share, an 11.7 per cent increase over the 2009 cash dividend, which is the second consecutive year of cash dividend growth for the Company, underlining its performance as one of the best performing dividend paying property companies listed in the United Kingdom and South Africa. The Group ended the year with cash balances of EUR 23.8 million net of new investments and dividend payments after it had raised approximately EUR 76 million of new share capital in 2010 in three issues, the latest of which occurred in December 2010.
