Rockzone, the newest radio in Romania

Last week saw the launch of the latest streaming radio station, Rockzone, which targets mainly rock-lovers. The radio will bring together, from March on, some of the best TV and radio DJs in Romania, one of the founders of the project, the TV host Mihai Pahontu, told Nine O’Clock. “This is a radio station born out of our love for rock, but also out of frustration. We are very pleased to see it already has a lot of fans. You will have a chance to listen to music never played before on Romanian radio, unknown songs, bands you’ve never heard before, all at the highest standards,” he said. Pahontu hopes the radio station will also be available, this year, in FM, but this is pending on the National Audiovisual Council (CNA)’s decision. Until then, the public can listen to it by accessing the website www.rockzone.ro.
