The first acoustic project of the musicians Cristian Horia and Emilian Florentin Gheorghe, “When Violin Meets Guitar”, represents a fairly new concept on the Bucharest musical scene. Presenting a repertoire which puts to the test even the most experienced musician, “When Violin Meets Guitar” enthrals the audiences, first and foremost, by the sheer calibre of works it approaches: Enescu, Vivaldi, Bach, Piazzola, Brahms, Mancini, Brubeck, Jobim, Django, as well as by adapting some well-known folk songs to the classical structure.
