The uncertainty which surrounded the make-up of the High Council of Magistrates (CSM) was dispelled, on Monday evening, by the Senate, by the validation of the eight members whose candidacy was considered legal according to the Constitutional Court (CC) ruling, Mediafax informs. The list, which excluded the magistrates Dan Lupascu, Lidia Barbulescu and Nicolae Dan Chiujdea, collected 64 votes “in favour”. At the same time, there were 48 votes “against” and two blank votes.
