Vodafone Romania: No actions to prevent Netmaster Communications from having access to the network

“The company considers that it took no actions that would have prevented Netmaster Communications from having access to its network in view of handling international calls traffic, a point of view it had expressed during the investigation too.” According to the operator’s officials, during the period on which the investigation focused, Netmaster Communications operated international voice traffic on the basis of an interconnection contract it had previously signed with Vodafone Romania. “The absence of a specific contract for international voice traffic is due to Netmaster’s refusal to accept the same contractual terms offered to other operators, Netmaster at the time asking for preferential treatment,” company officials stated in a press communiqué.
