Dacia sales – 7th largest in CEE

According to JATO consultancy company, Dacia is the 7th largest auto constructor in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) judging by the number of units sold in 2010, while the Logan is the third best-sold model, Mediafax informs. Thus, last year Dacia sold a little over 50,000 units in the region (Poland, Czech Republic, Romania, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Slovakia, Cyprus, Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia), reporting a slight drop compared to 2009. Skoda is the regional leader, having sold 127,000 units last year, followed by Volkswagen (76,491 units), Ford (64,928), Renault (63,727), Opel (55,270), Fiat (51,202), Dacia, Toyota (45,121), Hyundai (42,304) and Peugeot (38,807). Skoda Octavia is the best-sold model (63,014 units), followed by Fabia (39,862 units) and Dacia Logan (31,246 units).
