Petrol prices up again

Petrol companies won’t stop raising the prices of petrol and diesel fuel, despite a Tax Authority report on PM Emil Boc’s table showing allegedly ungrounded fuel rises of up to 20 per cent last year, according to Realitatea.net. As of yesterday, one litre of petrol at Rompetrol stations costs RON 0.02 more, and diesel fuel is up RON 0.07. The lowest-priced petrol variety sells now for RON 5.7 a litre. Petrom too hiked diesel prices by RON 0.07, to RON 4.9 a litre of its least expensive variety.
