Some 200 PNL Constanta members join PDL

Approximately 200 National Liberal Party members have joined the Democrat Liberal Party on Saturday. “The former Liberals justified their move through the dissatisfaction caused by the setting up of the Social Liberal Union that amounts to PNL’s loss of political and doctrinaire identity, but also through Gigi Chiru’s political project to win local and Parliamentary elections in 2012, so that Constanta city and Constanta County would shake off the noxious domination of the Mazare-Constantinescu couple,” a PDL Constanta communiqué reads. In retort, PNL Constanta said the pensioners that left for PDL are manipulated by the Democrat-Liberals and that their leader, Eugeniu Cojocaru has been kicked out of the party since June last year.
