Dacia’s market share in Europe is close behind Seat and Hyundai, which is “not bad for a car which, initially, was not meant to be sold in Western Europe”, “La Tribune” reports. Dacia’s sales in Europe save the overall results of the Renault group, and the “daring” performance of the Romanian brand is due to the success of Sandero and Duster models, the French paper comments. “Dacia’s results saved Renault’s results, which is a cause for concern. The Romanian brand reported, last month, over 20,000 new car registrations (e.n. in Europe). The brand’s market share is close to 2 pc. (…) France took in 38 pc of the brand’s European registrations,” the report further reads. The publication underlines that delays in Duster deliveries are still considerable, and demand for this model continues strong.
