“Long Night of Books” in Bucharest

As of this year, the Bookfest and Gaudeamus book fairs will be joined by BookLand. The first edition of the BookLand fair, to take place between April 15 and 17, invites the Bucharest public to a “Long Night of Books”, HotNews reports. Defining itself as an “urban book fair”, BookLand proposes, from the very first edition, to create many opportunities for interaction with readers, in a modern venue and using a multimedia format in keeping with the latest trends in book reading.

On April 15, 16 and 17, AFI Palace Cotroceni will open its gates to both publishing houses and online bookshops, offering a wide range of books, albums, dictionaries, professional guides, collection editions and audiobooks. Antiquarians are expected to join the over 150 publishing houses taking part in the fair.
