Scottish truck driver, put away for paedophilia

A truck driver from Scotland was sentenced to eight years in a Romanian prison after being found guilty of having sexually abused several young boys. James Connor, 33, was arrested by the Vaslui police in August 2010, after being caught in his long-distance truck with two boys, aged 9 and 14. The truck driver used to make videos of him while sexually abusing the children and then downloaded the footage on his computer. The police, which found at least five such videos on the Scot’s laptop, described him as a “dangerous paedophile”, who used to lure young boys during his drives through Europe. According to the investigators, Connor would offer his victims sweets and EUR 10-bills. The Scot has the right to file an appeal in the next ten days.
