According to the AMOFM data quoted by Mediafax, the unemployment level in Bucharest stood at 2.29 per cent in January, down from 2.27 per cent in December 2010. The average unemployment level last year stood at 2.58 per cent, the largest level being reported in September (3 per cent). There were 670 job vacancies in Bucharest on February 16-23. Of those, 57 were for university graduates, 266 for high school graduates, 261 for qualified workers and 86 for unqualified workers. Likewise, in the upcoming period AMOFM will organize seven training courses for chefs, salesmen, carpenters, plumbers, waiters, plasterers, house painters, upholsterers and dyers.
