IAC group to invest EUR 58 M in Bals factory

IAC group started the construction of a greenfield production unit in Bals, Olt County, in an event attended by local authorities, members of the Parliament and leaders of the business community, reads a press release sent to Nine O’Clock.

The state-of-the-art factory is due to for completion at the end of 2011. It will manufacture dashboard panels, door panels, roof lining and other interior elements for the Ford factory in the nearby town of Craiova, Romania. IAC group pledged to invest EUR 58 M in the Bals factory and to create 400 jobs in its greenfield project. The investment will have a major contribution for the development of the local and regional economy, as well as for other industrial sectors of Romania.
