The indicator of individual and corporate trust in Romanian economy continued its rise in February, reflecting an improvement of international perception, particularly in the services, retail and industry sectors, according to a monthly poll of the European Commission (EC). The EC indicator of trust in the Romanian economy rose, from 89.3 points in January, to 93.8 points in February. In December 2010, the indicator amounted to 87.6. The steepest rise was reported by the services sector sub-indicator, which rose from -5.8 points to 4.9 points. Significant rises were reported, also, in the retail sector (from -8.5 to -2.1 points) and in the industrial sector (from -3.1 to 0.2 points). The only negative trend was picked up in the construction sector.
