“Livresque”, book salon at Palace Hall

A new event in book publishing was inaugurated in Bucharest: the “Livresque” Book Salon. On its first edition, the event is running until Sunday, at the Palace Hall. Over 30 participants will take part in the event, including both first-rank publishers, like Humanitas, Curtea Veche, Nemira, Corint, Paralela 45, Herald, Vremea, Monitorul Oficial, Pro Publishing & Printing House, Lider and Amaltea, as well as publishing houses addressed to a smaller, but faithful, public, such as Carpathia, CECCAR, Vox 2000 or the Military Publishing House. The book salon will also host a “Literary Café”, where visitors will be able to have a cup of tea or coffee in an artistic ambiance and may relax watching literary debates or browsing through the newly-purchased books. The salon is open between 10 am and 7 pm. On Sunday, February 27, the visiting hours are 10 am to 6 pm.
