ANAF: 82 pc of employers submitted blanket revenue statements by Friday

The National Agency of Fiscal Administration (ANAF) announced Friday, Feb. 24, that a number of 385,321 unified statements D112, meaning 82 per cent, have been tendered by that same day, reports. Fifteen per cent of the forms was been sent via the Internet, with the remaining 70 per cent being submitted personally at ANAF desks. The nearly 385,000 statements cover 4,966,000 employees. “37 per cent of the statements have been sent online, which means the large employers opted to submit the statements through the Internet,” an ANAF release reads.

The bulk of the statements, 68 per cent, had been tendered Feb. 21-24, with an average of 42 employees a statement in the case of online applications, and 11 for those at desks, according to ANAF. The failure to submit the statements, or their late submission, is a contravention fined by RON 500 to 1000 in the case of private individuals and RON 1,000 to 5,000 for legal entities. According to ANAF, unless employers fill out the monthly form regularly, they are declared inactive. By July 1, 2011, taxpayers may submit the new form via the Internet or directly at the ANAF windows.
